Leonardslee Gardens
Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens and the Surrey Sculpture Society have launched a new collaboration for 2024, showcasing local artists from Sussex and Surrey.
The Society, which has previously exhibited during the summer months at the West Sussex estate, has designed and curated a new Art Walk featuring over 100 sculptures. The exhibition will run year-round in the Grade I Listed gardens, with admission included in the entrance price to Leonardslee.
The design of the Art Walk and the artful location of each sculpture take advantage of the setting with its diverse range of trees and shrubs, often rare and threatened in the wild. The trail winds down to the estate’s seven lakes and conveniently ends with a return shuttle service.
As well as an outdoor trail, there is a new indoor sculpture exhibition situated within Leonardslee House with plans to expand the collection further into sister property, Mannings Heath Estate just three miles away. All artwork is for sale.
The venue, with its 240 acres of gardens and lakes, parkland and forests, has a range of visitor facilities for snacks, lunch and dinner, as well as a gift shop, garden centre and a ‘magical world in miniature’ at the popular Beyond the Dolls’ House exhibition.

Ramster Gardens 2025
The now annual sculpture trail will be held within the enchanting woodland garden, making it an unforgettable experience.
This event is a unique opportunity to discover a world of wonder and imagination through sculpture whilst exploring the renowned 25-acre Ramster Garden, home to a spectacular collection of rhododendrons and azaleas. Feast on a fantastic show of colour, unusual and rare plantings blended with some of the finest artist talent.
Come down and welcome in the spring in one of the best ways we know how!

Riverhill Himalayan Garden
A new venue for us, we are delighted to be partnering with the Riverhill Himalayan Gardens for our first foray down into Kent this year.
Riverhill Himalayan Gardens is an historic, family run site which stretches over 12 acres overlooking the Weald of Kent. Located in Sevenoaks, the gardens have been in place since the 1840s and continue to provide a pleasure ground for horticulturalists and public alike.
We are excited to show our work in this historic and prestigious garden venue. As usual, we will plant flowers and lifeforms made from metal and glass, abstract and classical pieces made of bronze or metal resins or maybe stone: the weird and wonderful; creatures great and small. Something to delight every visitor. And we cannot wait!

Claremont Landscape Garden 2025
We are delighted to be back at Claremont Landscape Garden, Esher this summer with an outdoor exhibition running from 8th June to 14th July 2024.
This 18th century garden has been a place of relaxation and a retreat from nearby London for over 300 years and bears the hallmarks of some of the nation’s great landscape gardeners. The combination of art and nature provides an exciting evolution of the space, allowing sculpture to embellish these grounds which are now under the care and stewardship of the National Trust.
The trail, which will encompass the serpentine lake and surrounding areas, is fully accessible allowing visitors to enjoy the wide-ranging exhibition at their leisure.

Birtley House 2025
We are delighted to announce a return to the grounds of this historic Nursing Home for an exhibition of both indoor and outdoor sculpture.
This family run nursing home which was founded in 1932 and has not closed its doors for a single day since 1945, is an old and valued friend of the Society’s and we are delighted to be back at the venue for three weeks in the summer. The House has strong local connections and we are proud to be included amongst those organisations who help this venue continue in its mission.

West Horsley Place 2025
The Christmas Arts and Artisans Fair at West Horsley Place is now a firm favourite in the annual Surrey calendar.
Famous for its role as Button House in the BBC series “Ghosts”, this Grade I listed manor house which dates from 1425, plays host to a bevvy of artisans and artists just before the festive season. Come and join us upstairs in the Drawing Room to pick up a Xmas present or two for the art lovers in your life and then browse the many and varied stalls which are dotted around the house and grounds. Why not picking up a hot chocolate and home-made cake on the way, just to keep you warm of course, as you wend your way round this historical treasure?
